What an exciting week it’s been for AllSkills Education CLG! We’re absolutely thrilled and proud to announce that our FLIT Financial Literacy project received a 'Highly Commended' recognition in the Diversity Category at the prestigious Business Post Fintech Awards.
From Belfast to the Mansion House
The day began with our team attending the TechFoundHer WeBuild residential in Belfast, a fantastic initiative that fosters innovation and collaboration. The energy, positivity, and encouragement evident there set a brilliant tone for what was to come.
Later that day, it was on to the Mansion House in Dublin for the Business Post Fintech Awards. The atmosphere was palpable, with a real sense of innovation and forward-thinking spirit. It was genuinely uplifting to see the same positive energy we experienced in Belfast echoed in the evening's event.
Celebrating Diversity in Fintech
One of the evening's highlights was hearing Derek Foley Butler, FCA, speak about the crucial work of building equitable, inclusive, and diverse financial systems, and how artificial intelligence can be a powerful force for positive change in society. This really resonated with our own mission at AllSkills Education CLG.
Being a finalist in the Diversity Category for FLIT Financial Literacy was an honour in itself, as it acknowledges the vital role financial literacy plays in empowering diverse communities and fostering a more inclusive financial landscape for everyone.
A Moment of Recognition
To then receive a 'Highly Commended' recognition in such a competitive category was truly wonderful. It’s a testament to the hard work, dedication, and impact of our FLIT Financial Literacy project and the wider AllSkills team. We’re so grateful for this acknowledgement from the fintech community, reinforcing that consumer financial literacy is indeed a crucial area.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the Business Post Fintech Awards for this recognition and to everyone who supports our work. This achievement motivates us even further to continue our efforts in delivering vital financial and digital literacy skills across communities in Ireland. It’s a wonderful boost, and we’re excited to keep building on this momentum.
